Belle Shanti Yoga & Wellness’s name represents BEAUTIFUL PEACE. It is a blend of French roots for Belle, referring to BEAUTY and Sanskrit rooted Shanti, for PEACE.

About Beth

I am a trauma-informed yoga guide with a passion for helping people find peace, calm, and ease…even in today’s world!

The creds: I am an RYT 500 and E-RYT 200 registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance. I am an intuitive healer and energy worker with training in Reiki II and a seeker with a specialty in blending Eastern Yoga and Ayurveda practices with respect to and partnering with Western mental health and medical practices.

My Journey

With over 20 years of experience in corporate America, specializing in Human Resources, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals and organizations connect with vision and foster environments where both people and teams thrived. But no matter what success I contributed to, there was something deeper I was seeking—an alignment between my work and my true purpose.

My yoga journey began more than 20 years ago with my first yoga class. However, it wasn’t until many years later, deep into my corporate career, that my own nervous system became so dysregulated that I ended up in the ER. This experience was a turning point for me to realize there has to be a better way to experience life.

I desired to live a purposeful life with joy and gratitude. My practice started as an asana (poses) practice and I desired more life through a yogic lens. This required quite a bit of adaptation for a working parent with a full career!

Through study, training, and creating ways to incorporate these beautiful ancient practices into my own life, I became passionate to show others who operate in high pressure environments such as: public safety professionals, first responders, educators, and mental health professionals, not only the IMPORATANCE of healthy wellness practices, but HOW create them within the time they HAVE.  

The blending of Eastern and Western wellness practices like: mindfulness, breathwork, and yoga, integrates nervous system regulation techniques and provides tools to help manage stress, prevent burnout, and foster resilience in environments where stress and fatigue are evident.
